I can’t believe the end of the school year is just a few weeks away. My son would tell you differently, but it feels like it’s gone by so fast! To commemorate, I made a quick and easy gift that would be perfect for your favorite teacher.
You can scale the design to fit any size flower pot, and I made two versions: the “Thank You for Helping Me Grow” version that’s great for a houseplant, or an alternate version that says “Thank You for Helping Me Bloom” that would be pretty with a potted flower.

To make your own teacher gift, you just need a glazed flower pot, a pretty plant to go in it, a scrap of adhesive vinyl, and the downloadable file for the text. Get the “grow” version here, or the “bloom” version here.
Side note, I finally invested in some tools to go with my Silhouette machine. Up ’til now I’d just used an xacto knife for weeding shapes, but one little slip would scratch the vinyl. You can find Silhouette branded sets or Cricut sets, but either brand works regardless of the machine you’re using. I purchased these to get started and it was SO much easier weeding out the centers of the letters with the right tools!
Size the text to fit your flower pot. The text is curved slightly so it will appear straight when it’s applied to a curved surface. Cut out the text and center it on the pot. Pop in your plant and you’re done!
