Did you know you can print on Post-It notes? The first time I saw an explanation on Pinterest I went straight to my computer to try it out. I had visions of epic paper jams, but it worked perfectly. Sweet!
This framed printable makes a sweet gift, it comes together in less than half an hour AND it uses printed posted notes. It’s like the perfect storm of Valentine’s Day craftiness.
To make it, you just need a 5″x7″ picture frame, 3″x3″ Post-It notes and these downloadable files:
Download the files. Print out the chevron background, trim it to size and pop it into the frame. Make sure you’re printing all the files at 100%.
Print out the placement guide for the Post-It note and place one Post-It on each square. Make sure the Post-Its are all aligned with the sticky part at the top. (I even marked “top” on the placement guide to help you out.) Load the paper with the Post-Its into your printer so the top will feed in first. This is critical for avoiding the aforementioned epic paper jam when you print on them.
Open up the guide for the Post-It note text, highlight the placeholder text and type in your messages. Print it onto the paper with the Post-It notes.
Stack up the printed Post-Its and stick them to the glass in the picture frame, lining them up with the white square on the background print. If you want more than 6 messages, just load a new set of Post-Its onto the printing guide, change the text in the Word file and print again.
