As promised, here’s another recipe for relieving sore muscles. Like the sore muscle bath salts I posted earlier, this one also uses lavender and eucalyptus essential oils plus peppermint essential oil, mixed in an aloe vera base. It smells lovely!

To make it, you’ll need:
- Aloe vera gel (plain gel, not the colored and/or scented kind)
- 15 drops lavender essential oil
- 15 drops peppermint essential oil
- 15 drops eucalyptus essential oil
Measure one ounce of the aloe vera gel into a glass bowl. Add 10 drops each of lavender, peppermint and eucalyptus oil. Mix well and pour into your roll-on or squeeze bottle.
To use, just rub a small amount onto stiff or sore muscles.
