Now that I have a Silhouette Cameo, I’ve been working my way back through some of my old paper crafts and re-creating the templates for cutting machines (either Silhouette or Cameo). This candy corn banner was one of my favorites, and now it’s even easier to make!
Supplies:
- Yellow cardstock
- Orange cardstock
- White cardstock
- Polka dot cardstock
- 1/4″ ribbon
- Double sided tape or adhesive runner
Download the templates:
If they don’t import at the correct size, all the shape templates should be resized to 8-1/2″ x 11″ BEFORE you outline them. They can be cut out on either 8-1/2″ x 11″ or 12″ x 12″ cardstock.
Once you’ve cut your pieces, assembly is a snap!
Start with a yellow base…
Add the white tip first, making sure the edges are lined up.
Add the yellow center.
String the pieces together on 1/4″ ribbon, alternating the candy corn shapes with the circular spacers. You can make the banner as long as you want.
Done!
